Mya is sick and quite fussy again. She has a cold, but is so congested that she sometimes has trouble eating and sleeping. This led to an even fussier, tired baby who could not sleep. Her mom tried to get her to relax using the baby swing. Although Mya enjoyed the swing, it seems she may be close to having outgrown it.

Mya celebrated Thanksgiving with Grandma and Grandpa Glatfelter, Great-grandma Julius and mom and dad. She ate a little bit of everything, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, and the best part- pumpkin pie. Mya also enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and playing with the dog.
New talent of the day: climbing stairs.

This morning Mya headed with Alex to playtime at Gymboree. The two played with a bunch of other kids and particularly liked the rocker.

Later, they went to visit Bryce, Heather and Holly. The girls enjoyed pretending Mya was their baby doll and pushing Alex around in their doll stroller.

This morning Mya and her parents headed out in the freezing cold to watch the local parade. Mya was able to tolerate about an hour, before she passed out. Then she took her dad to his first Gymboree class, where she showed him how much she enjoyed sliding and crawling around on all the equipment. Mya had Scott help her play some baby soccer, which she enjoyed with her new friends.
Later, she enjoyed an early dinner with her parents and then went to watch the Carolina Rollergirls in a few games of roller derby. Mya did really well at the games and did not get fussy when her bedtime came and went.

Mya went out to the local toystore with her friend, Luke, to watch an act by Cotton the Clown. Cotton visits once a week and brings musical instruments along for the kids to play with while she sings songs. Mya seemed to enjoyed the act and will probably start going each week.

The nickname “Mya Papaya” that Mya gained well before her birth had to be supervened by trying the papaya fruit. She really enjoyed it, even if it continually slipped everywhere when she tried to pick it up. This was served with half of a grilled cheese, which Mya downed in no time.

Mya went to the mall to do some shopping with Mommy and Daddy. There were a lot of Christmas decorations to pose next to. And although Mya is not aware of it yet, it seemed odd to be wearing summer clothes while Christmas shopping, considering we are not adjusted to the warm southern weather.

Nowadays, Mya is successfully able to stand up and sit down using the walker. She knows how to push it around without any trouble and no longer falls down while walking.

This morning Mya enjoyed her last session at library storytime until the new session next year. She played with Luke and Claira from her Gymboree class and helped tear up a magazine.
In the afternoon, she hung out with Grandma and Grandpa Gonzalez. She attempted to show her grandparents how she can walk with the walker, but she has not quite learned yet that if she starts to fall backwards, that she needs to let go.
Mya later got her first balloon at Red Robin, where she went for dinner. The balloon managed to keep her occupied for about 10 minutes, before sadly being forgotten.

Today Mya took Grandma and Grandpa Gonzalez shopping and then later got to go swimming at their hotel. She enjoyed her time in the pool, before heading out for dinner.

Today Mya went to her dad’s work to go out for lunch. She showed him how she does not want someone feeding her anymore, because she would rather feed herself. And while she did not want to eat her own food, she did eat her mom’s food.
Later, Kristin and Mya took a ride around the lake. Mya was not happy though, since she had missed two previous naps and just wanted to be in her own bed.
