Pumpkins and Cupcakes.
November 14, 2009Aunt Erin came down to spend time with the family today. Mya had spent time with her mom in the morning making cupcakes, which Mya needed no refresher for. She poured all the ingredients into the bowl, pushed the buttons to start the mixer and stuck the cupcake liners into the pan. She then proceeded to push the “on” button when Kristin turned her back for a minute. Cake batter was everywhere. As her mom cleaned up the mess, Mya then sneaked in a few licks from the batter. Later, Mya got to shake funfetti over the cupcakes and devour her delicious dessert.
Since the family had not gotten a chance to carve pumpkins, Mya painted a bunch of pumpkins. She seemed particularly happy when Scott began drawing on her with the paint, allowing her to add to the artwork. She had paint on every part of her body by the end.
Later, Mya’s friend, Cora, came to play and to meet Dylan. Parallel play is definitely a thing of the past for Mya.
Mya had so much fun riding in the laundry basket, that she refused to get out. Can you spot her in the picture below?
