Dylan had a check-up with the pediatrician today. He weighed in at 6 lbs. 5 oz. The pediatrician mentioned that everything looked good, except his jaundice level. His eyes, face and torso were quite yellow. Scott and Kristin had to take Dylan to get his blood levels checked. When the results came back, his jaundice level had topped out at a 16. The pediatrician recommended a bilirubin blanket be placed around his torso to help lower his jaundice levels. Luckily, Dylan seems to sleep best when very warm, so he did not seem to mind sweating under the lights.

Mya taught her mom how to get some exercise while at home. Step 1- sit on the couch, preferably with baby brother in hands. Step 2- Place feet flat on the ground and allow Mya to sit on them. Step 3- Lift Mya up until legs are straight out and then return them to the floor. Step 4- Repeat until Mya gets tired of exercising.

Today was also Dylan’s first sponge bath at home. He was not very happy…
